Purpose:  To articulate what you stand for.


Telling people your grand vision is easy. Getting people to buy into it, not so much. This is where you need to find your voice.


Why will people be better off with your product? What is the real value delivered by your brand? Why should anyone care? Purpose. Relevance. Empowerment. Visioning helps you find the language that connects on an instinctive, emotional level.


Don’t mistake articulating vision with coming up with a mission statement (which has little value outside the board room). Missions are explanations. Vision inspires. Vision is an anthem.
